Presently the group is working on originals, they took time to record some promo demos to include a demo of their original song, "Solid Core (We're Gonna Fly)". You can hear these demos on the Video and Sound Clips page. You can also hear them perform this and many other songs live, check the Calendar page for their schedule. Also, if you have Bright House you can catch a glimpse of the group recently at AJ's Sports Bar & Grill on Tampa Bay on Demand channel 340.

Solid Core celebrated it's first year as a working unit. The guys are getting ready to get busy...make sure to check the Calendar page for upcoming dates. Rumor has it that the band will be back this year at the Cotee River Blues Festival. Stay tuned for confirmation and more information....and other things.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! A new page has been added to the site to showcase the wedding receptions the band has played, be sure to check out the new Wedding Reception page. Apologies to all those who were anticipating dates at Sam's Hudson Beach that were canceled, a decision made by the establishment due to inclement weather. Be sure to check the Calendar page for updates. The band has been hard at work on their original songs soon to be released. Stay tuned.

If you've been to the Calendar page you will notice that the dates for Sam's have been canceled for December and January. Sam's thought it best to wait until spring since this has been a rough winter season for them in terms of the weather. Meanwhile, exciting things are on the horizon for the group. Be sure to stay tuned for new dates. Happy New Year to all our fans, family, and friends, we'll see you in 2010.

Though the band is looking forward to seeing all of our old friends and new friends, please remember that Sam's Hudson Beach is an outside venue and that any date at that venue can be canceled due to inclement weather. For information concerning possible cancellations contact Sam's Hudson Beach at 727-868-1971. Be sure to check the Calendar page for new dates and updates.

Solid Core played its first wedding as a collective this past Saturday and the guys were in rare form. It was a great reception with a truly handsome couple. Solid Core would like to wish the happy couple all of God's blessings. The band received many requests for new dates and are happy to report that there are new dates posted on the Calendar page for November and more in negotiation, so stay tuned and check back often.

The band does not like or enjoy canceling a gig, we always look forward to having a good time. Unfortunately due to inclement weather it was inevitable to cancel the show at Sam's Hudson Beach on 17 October 2009. For those of you that unfortunately made the trek to Hudson Beach we apologize for the inconvenience. There was no way we could have played when there were wind gusts between 25 and 35 miles an hour....and it was pretty chilly as well and folks started leaving. Solid Core says thank you for your support and we'll see you next party!

The band has been very busy with behind the scene stuff and getting ready for upcoming shows and events. Technical issues have been worked out and now the video has been uploaded with controls on the Video and Sound Clips page. A new video is presently being worked on with new pics that will be displayed above and throughout the site.

Bay News 9 has a new spot on Sam's Hudson Beach on Channel 340, go to Bay Area Guide, select Bars & Clubs and find Sam's Hudson Beach. You'll find Solid Core in action. The band has a great time when they play Sam's and look forward to the next party.

Go to Food, then select On Dining, then search for Sam's Hudson Beach. Better yet check out our next date at Sam's and come out for a good time. The rumors are true, Bay News 9 will be at Sam's Hudson Beach when the band is playing, so come on out and be apart of the fun. You will be too when you get a dose of these guys from the Tampa Bay area. Coming soon, that invisible 6th member.
